Some light natural tanning inside cover but pages barely showing any tanning. Binding is tight and straight with no creasing along spine. Cover is clean and shiny with only a hint of shelf wear along edge.

It sparked a trilogy of novels and was adapted to film making it one of the most celebrated novels of all time. Although a novel, it does include allusions to real-life mobsters and their associates. The character Johnny Fontane is based in Frank Sinatra and Moe Greene on Bugsy Siegel. Additionally, Vito Corleone was a composite of real-life bosses Frank Costello and Carlo Gambino.
