This is a near fine (almost like new) leather-bound hardcover. It is one of the 1982 Time Life Book series, Collectors Library of the Civil War. This edition has been photographically reproduced from the 1887 first Edition to ensure authenticity including typographical errors and irregularities. Handsome leather bound in black with gold lettering and embossed frontispiece. Gold tipped page edges with attached red ribbon book mark. Inside pages are still crisp and clean with no markings seen. The binding is tight and straight. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 408 pages.
