Among the battles included are; Bannockburn in 1314, Hallidon Hill - 1333, Dunbar in 1650 where Cromwell defeated the forces of Charles ll, and more. In addition, there is an overview of the period from the Roman invasion and subjugation of the Scots. It continues through the violent struggles for the Scottish throne in the 10th century among leaders such as Duncan l, Macbeth, and Malcolm lll. It is complete with Ordinance Survey maps of the battle sites and surrounding areas.
