This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1951 Shakespeare House Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages only have hints of light natural tanning from age and are very clean. The binding is tight and straight. Attached satin bookmark frayed at edge but intact and good. Top outer page edges tipped in gold gilt. The hardcover boards are very good with only very light shelf wear that corners/edges and feature embossed Shakespeare design front. Smaller hardcover, 16mo book size or 4.5" x 7" with 401 pages. This series from Shakespeare House was designed to be "pocket books" for carrying in purse or pocket to read anywhere.
