This is a very good set of 2 hardcovers with accompanying slipcase. First Printing 1973 New York Graphic Society Publishing. Each volume is bound in Green Bay Packer Green leatherette padded covers. Both Volume One and Volume Two are very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good and clean. The bindings on both are tight and straight. Each volume is bound in green leatherette with gold lettering cover. The accompanying slipcase feature pastedown color illustration of Vince Lombardi and the slipcase is very good with light shelf wear. Each volume is larger size, imperial octavo book size or 9" x 11" each.
Vince Lombardi on Football features a two volume set that includes an Intro by Red Smith, an editor's foreword by George L. Flynn and comments by Bart Starr.
Volume One covers Offense, Lombardi's life and football philosophy, the famous Lombardi Sweep, offensive line play, the running game, and defense against the run.
Volume Two covers Defense & Special Teams along with defensive line play, linebackers, defensive backs, the passing game, kicking and more.
