This is a very good hardcover with a goood dust jacket. 1958 Modern Library. This copy is very good inside. The inside pages are good and clean. tight and straight. NOTE: we consider this book to have bibliosmia or the scent of old books caused by the chemical breakdown of paper, glue, and ink over time. We don't consider it "foul" but noteworthy. The binding is tight and straight. Red cloth hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only hints of shelf wear and feature gold title/author lettering in black block front and same on spine. The accompanying dust jacket is good, mostly clean with wearing appearing along edges/corners. Standard Modern Library crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 277 pages and Modern Library logo design front and back endpapers.
