This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. It is an early reprint of the First Edition, most likely 1959-1960 from DoubleDay Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good and clean. Illustrated maps front and back endpapers. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards are bound in tan with blue quarter trim as seen in the true First Edition, First Print and are also very good with only very light shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is good, showing wear corners/edges. Original price of 4.50 appears inside front jacket flap and jacket design by Sydney Butchkes and Harlan Krakowitz as seen on the original First Edition. Black and white photo of author back of jacket. Octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 626 pages.
