Thomas Jefferson An Intimate History by Fawn M. Brodie is a detailed account exploring Jefferson's life, struggles, passions and more. It explores the heart and mind of Thomas Jefferson. It also deals with his conflicts over love, politics, revolution and more. It was one of the first works to deal with Sally Hemings, her children and the evidence of Jefferson being their father. It was a central but controversial part of the book.
