This is a very good hardcover. 1960 Walter Black Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good and clean. The binding is tight and straight with fine sewn (not modern glued) binding. Grey hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear and feature gold lettering along spine in black block. Crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 135 pages. ESG design endpapers front and back.
This is two Perry Mason novels, The Case of the Singing Skirt & The Case of the Moth Eaten Mink, two crime fiction mystery novels in one edition. They were written by Erle Stanley Gardner. This is the Walter J. Black, 1957 edition. Walter Black published a series of two-story volumes from 1940 through the 1960's.
In The Case of the Singing Skirt, the story follows a nightclub singer who is being framed for theft and accused of murder. Perry Mason is hired to clear her name.
In The Case of the Moth Eaten Mink, originally published in 1952 and famously adapted into a Season 1 episode of the Perry Mason TV series, Perry Mason and Della Street have their quiet dinner interrupted when their panic stricken waitress sees a mysterious man flee into the street and get struck by a car. Perry takes charge of her mink coat, finding a hidden pawn ticket that connects the waitress to a criminal enterprise and the unsolved murder of a police officer
