This is a very good hardcover. 1957 Walter Black Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good and clean. The binding is tight and straight with fine sewn (not modern glued) binding. Grey hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear and feature gold lettering along spine in black block. Crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 135 pages. ESG design endpapers front and back.

The Case of the Screaming Woman begins as a husband claims he picked up a stranded woman in the middle of the night and dropped her off at a hotel. But his wife isn't buying the story. Perry Mason is brought in and discovers a tangled, trail of murder, illegal adoption, smuggled narcotics, and blackmail tied to a local gossip columnist
The Case of the Glamorous Ghost involves a scandalous half-sister, Eleanor, who is found darting through a public park half-naked and claiming amnesia. She remembers eloping with a gambler and a car crash, but nothing else. Perry is hired to keep her out of the press, but quickly discovers a hidden cache of precious gems, smuggled goods, and a dead body
