American distrust of government and politicians in general can be traced back to the official investigation into the death of Pres. John F. Kennedy, argues the author. The Warren Report did little to change that view. The author puts forth that the "Establishment" was involved. The period that American's felt was a golden era had come to an end. New evidence leads the author to scorn the "lone gunman" theory and encourages readers to consider the truth in that theory. Along with the engaging text there are illustrations and vintage photos that bring history back to life.
