The binding is tight and straight. Green hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very good as housed inside clear mylar archival sleeve. Octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 439 pages including index. Illustrated maps front and back endpapers.
