This is a very good hardcover. 1912 Scribners Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. NOTE: previous owners sticker place inside front cover, see photo. Rest of inside pages are very good and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Green hardcover boards are also very good and feature embossed gold design front and gold lettering along spine. Top page edges tipped in gold gilt. Illustrations by American artist Arthur l. Keller including frontispiece which still has the original tissue guard in place. Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8" with 295 pages.
