This is a special edition, 1988 Unicorn Publishing, of the beloved story by Eleanor Porter, Pollyanna. Originally published in 1913, the story centers around Pollyanna, an optimistic young orphan who comes to live with her strict and wealthy Aunt Polly. Pollyanna introduces the town to the "Glad Game"—a practice of finding something to be glad about in any situation, no matter how dire.
this edition is finely illustrated by Judy Mastrangelo and features an Intro by Haley Mills who starred in the 1960 film adaptation.
