This is a near fine 3 volume set of hardcovers. 1964 Cooper Square Publishing. Each volume in the set is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages of each are still crisp and clean. The bindings are tight and straight, featuring fine sewn binding for durability and aesthetics. Brown hardcover boards on each are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. Larger hardcovers, quarto book size or 9" x 12" each.

Originally compiled by Wilberforce Eames, the set provides detailed descriptions and checklists of rare historical volumes related to the discovery, exploration, and development of the Americas. Volumes 1 & 2 in the set contain descriptive entries and photographic plates of 300 incredibly rare books collected by Herschel V. Jones. Jones was a famous publisher and bibliophile. Volume 3 presents a supplementary checklist that spans dates from 1473–1926 of the wider Americana collection.
