This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1942 Simon & Schuster Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very clean and only marking seen is previous owners gift inscription and date on first blank page, see photo. The binding is tight and straight, bound in fine sewn (not glued) binding for durability and aesthetics. Red hardcover boards are also very good with only light shelf wear. Standard octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 883 pages.
