This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, original jacket missing. 1942 Knopf Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very clean and actually still crisp with only a hint of light natural tanning from age. NOTE: the binding is tight and straight BUT is "cracked" in one spot (see photo) but does not seriously affect pages as all pages are tight to binding. Green hardcover boards are very good with light shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 399 pages not including index.
