This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. 1991 Indian Head Books. This copy is actually still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Grey hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear and feature brown cloth quarter trim with gold lettering on spine. Octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 322 pages.
Life Among the Apaches by John C. Cremony gives readers a look into the culture, traditions and battles of Native American Apache tribes. Originally published in 1868, the book is a first-person account of the Apache people and the American Southwest in the 19th century. As an interpreter, the author was the first white man to learn the Apache language.
