This is a very good set of two hardcovers with dust jackets. Cica 1983 and 1995 DoubleDay and Fawcett Publishing. Each hardcover is very good inside and out. The inside pages are still crisp and clean on both. The bindings are tight and straight. Hardcover boards under dust jackets are both very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jackets are still clean and shiny with only light shelf wear mostly corners/edges.
Each volume is crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8.5" each.
Mrs Pollifax is on the case in each of these mysteries and in Mrs Pollifax Pursued trouble is finding her. All she wanted to do was plant basil in her garden but a missing salami leads her to fine a young girl hiding in her junk closet. She is hiding from men in a dirty white van. Under the cover of darkness Mrs. P. tried to drive her to Manhattan but a green sedan is following them closely. Soon, they find themselves in exotic places finding Mrs. P.'s impeccable use of karate helpful.
Mrs Pollifax on the China Station, the devoted garden club member finds herself back on assignment with the CIA. This time she is posing as a tourist in the Orient on the legendary Silk Road.
