Includes many from World War l and World War ll along with powerful supersonic jets of today, including F-15 Eagles, MiGs and the Eurofighter. The sections form an illustrated guide to over 170 fighter aircraft, the first section covering pioneering aircraft from WW1 through the jets in action during WWll. There are rare photos of some, including the Bristol Fighter, Spitfire, and P-51 Mustang.
Included is a guide to types of weapons used in air combat including cannons, rockets, and missiles.
