This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover bound in bonded leather with additional fine binding appointments. 1999 Trident Press reprinted from the 1879 edition. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight and features fine sewn (not glued) binding for durability and aesthetics. The hardcover boards feature illustrations and gold design front and are bound in maroon bonded leather with padded cover. All three outer page edges tipped in gold. Medium octavo books size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 355 pages.
This is the classic tale of the Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas. This edition has been reprinted from the original 1879 text. It is finely illustrated throughout with black and white sketches by Maurice Leloir including Dumas illustration frontispiece.
