This is a very good larger hardcover with dust jacket preserved in clear archival sleeve. 1968 Stackpole Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are actually still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Gold hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very good housed behind a clear archival sleeve. Larger coffee table style book, quarto book size or 9" x 12" with 287 pages including index.

This is a side of the American Revolution not always seen. It details the equipment, weapons, accessories and more needed by Continental Soldiers. Medical surgical supplies along with intimate physical things is also detailed. At the time, the book was recommended as a standard work in the field of military history by the Company of Military Historians.
