This is a very good hardcover, one of the White Spine editions, with minor caveats. See continued description for White Spine Oz books history. This copy is very good inside and out BUT there is foxing to hardcover boards as shown in photos. The inside pages are very good with the foxing being localized to outside boards. This can occur as the boards are exposed to variations in humidity and general exposure to environment. Usually because of poorer quality white paper with no acid neutral qualities. The inside pages of this copy are actually very good and clean. NOTE: on the "This Book Belongs To" page, previous owners name neatly written in the block. The binding is tight and straight. Medium octavo book size or 7" x 9".
