This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1947 Illustrated Junior Library Grosset & Dunlap Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. NOTE: inside front cover - first illustrated page top left corner, there is name and date 1957 written in very small script, see photo. Rest of the inside pages are very good and clean with only a hint of light natural tanning from age. The binding is very good, tight and straight. Hardcover boards are also very good with only light shelf wear, and illustrated front and back. Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8.5' with 546 pages. Illustrated endpapers front and back.
This edition of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is the 1947 Illustrated Jr. Library published by Grosset & Dunlap. It is very nicely illustrated with black and white sketches and full color illustrations by Louis Jamber.
