This is a good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1947 Illustrated Junior Library Grosset & Dunlap Publishing. This copy is good inside and out. NOTE: on first blank page there is gift inscription " Ellen From Mother 1947". Rest of the inside pages are very good and clean with only light natural tanning from age. The binding is The binding is good, tight and straight. Hardcover boards are good, light wear, but good with illustrations front and back. Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8.5' with 546 pages. Illustrated endpapers front and back.
This edition of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is the 1947 Illustrated Jr. Library published by Grosset & Dunlap. It is very nicely illustrated with black and white sketches and full color illustrations by Louis Jamber.
