This is a very good larger hardcover, NO dust jacket, original dust jacket missing. 1941 Greystone Press. This copy is very good inside and out. NOTE: inside front cover "Merry Christmas" is written top right corner and opposite page must have included a date and name of recipient BUT top edge of opposite page inside cover has been neatly trimmed into a "V" shape cutting out the name of the recipient, see photo. The rest of the pages are very good and clean and appear unmarked. The color illustrations throughout are still bright and colorful. The binding is tight and straight. Navy blue hardcover boards are very good with only very light shelf wear, mostly corners/edges, and feature silver lettering front and spine. Super octavo book size or 7" x 10.5" with 121 pages including glossary.
