This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. This copy is very good and very clean inside and out BUT PLS NOTE inside back cover there is what appears to be red ink mark, see photo . The inside pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Tan hardcover boards are also very good and clean with only light shelf wear including minor "bumps" at corner edges. Crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 223 pages.
Originally published in New Orleans newspapers in 1925, New Orleans Sketches is a collection of 11 short stories by William Faulkner. The sketches, edited by Carvel Collins, were compiled and published as a book in 1958, offering insight about the developing author during his time in the French Quarter.
