This is a good condition, very rare Dickens title from The Oxford India Paper set of Dickens Complete Works. Originally published in the early 1900's, there is no copyright date stated but the India Paper editions from Oxford, London and U.S., were issued between 1900-1909. This is ONE volume only of the original 17 volume set. Bound in full olive green leather, the cover is still very good with light shelf wear. The leather is supple and soft. There is only very light shelf wear to the leather cover front and back. The binding is tight and straight and good, solid. Attached hunter green satin bookmark. Outer page edges tipped in gold. There is no lettering to front or back cover but the gold design and title lettering along spine is good with only mild wearing. This is a SMALL volumes originally designed not only to look handsome as shelved but to be portable as a grab and go book for pocket or purse and reading anywhere. 12mo book size or 4.75" x 7" each so featuring smaller text.
