This is a very good hardcover bound in bonded leather. 1982 Chatham River Press. This copy is very good inside and out with minor caveats. The inside pages are very clean but do have natural tanning from age. This edition was intended to give a fine binding appeal with gold gilt outer page edges and bound in bonded leather. The bonded leather hardcover boards are very good with only a hint of shelf wear and feature gold title lettering and design front and spine. The binding is tight and straight and features fine sewn binding (not glued) for durability and aesthetics. NOTE: there is rubbing and scratches to the gold gilt outer page edges from wear and age but overall still good and apparently tipped in gold, see photo. Octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 698 pages.
