This is a very good overall hardcover bound in blue bonded leather. 1984 Octopus Books. NOTE: there is light natural tanning to pages from age but they are clean and very good overall. The binding is tight and straight, featuring fine sewn binding (not glued) for durability and aesthetics. The book is bound in bonded leather with gold design and author lettering front and gold title lettering along spine. The bonded leather hardcover boards are also very good with only light shelf wear. All three page edges are tipped in gold gilt but there is some wearing to the gilt on page edges. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 666 pages.
H.G. Wells Masters Library from Octopus Books contains six of the authors best novels. This edition contains; The Time Machine, The Island of Dr Moreau, The Invisible Man, The First Men in The Moon, The Food of The Gods, and The War of The Worlds.
