This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. First U.S. Edition 1997 St Martins Press. This copy is still crisp and clean inside. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Ivory hardcover boards under jacket are very good with only very light shelf wear and feature maroon quarter trim and gold lettering along spine. The accompanying dust jacket is very good but does have light shelf wear mostly bottom edge. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 554 pages and color illustrated maps front and back endpapers.
