This is a very good hardcover. 1963 Great Ideas Program series from Britannica. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good, clean and still crisp. The binding is tight and straight and bound w fine sewn binding, not glued, for durability. Hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. Crown octavo book size or 5.5" x 8.5" with 395 pages.

Each annual volume included essays from prominent intellectuals, discussions of current debates, and more. Each includes guide to the reading and self testing questions.
