This is a very good hardcover, NO dust jacket, jacket missing. 1955 Illustrated Junior Library Nelson DoubleDay Publishing. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are clean with only very light natural tanning from age. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards are also very good with light shelf wear and mild fading along spine. Very mild wear to top edge of hardcover boards spine but mild. Octavo book size or 6" x 9" with 313 pages.
Jr. Deluxe Edition books were a series of children's books published from the late 1940's through the 1960's. Originally published by Nelson DoubleDay Publishing, there have been multiple publishers over the years. Some of the versions feature multiple stories and most of those are abridged volumes. Generally, the volumes featuring single stories are complete.
