Originally published as a history series of World War Two, this is Battle Zone Normandy Juno Beach. It contains detailed narrative along with archive and color photos, color mapping and a battlefield tour section. The Juno Beach landings on 6 June 1944 were just the start of Canadian 3rd Infantry Division's long struggle to Germany and victory. In the coming days the Canadians would face some of the toughest German troops, including 12th SS Panzer Division. The book revisits the scenes of fighting and commemorates the young men who fell in service to the Allied cause.
