This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 2004 Sutton Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Th cover front and back is still clean and shiny with only a hint of shelf wear. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 188 pages.
Published in 2004 as a series of history books, this is Battle Zone Normandy, Sword Beach. The series focused on World War Two history and battles. This copy contains archive and color photos along with color mapping and battlefield tours. It covers both the triumphs and tragedies following the British 3rd Infantry Division landing on Sword Beach on D-Day. They were counter-attacked by 21st Panzer Division later that day and struggled to make any progress. The book narrated their struggles and limited progress.
