This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1975 Second Printing Little Brown Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear and feature embossed title lettering front and silver lettering along spine. The accompanying dust jacket is very good, still clean and shiny with light shelf wear mostly corners/edges. Super octavo book size or 7" x 10.5" with 448 pages including index. Illustrated Adams Family genealogy inside front and back endpapers.

The book is a fascinating text and picture history of 4 generations of one of America's most prominent families. The book was coordinated with the PBS television series of the same name. There are revealing personal glimpses of family members. Family members covered are; John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Charles Francis Adams, and the brothers John Quincy ll, Charles Francis Jr., and Henry and Brooks Adams. There are 69 pages of illustrations in color and 72 illustrations in black and white that add to the detailed text and history.
