This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1984 Houghton Mifflin Publishing. This copy is still very good and clean inside and out. The inside pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Green hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very clean and still holding shine with only very light shelf wear. Crown octavo book sizes or 5" x 8" with 449 pages. Illustrated flower variations inside front and back endpapers.
This Peterson Field Guide is Southwestern and Texas Wildflowers. As with all Peterson Field Guides, this is well detailed and illustrated throughout. Flowers are arranged by color and visual similarity. Illustrations have arrows pointing to key characteristic to look for to distinguish between flowers. There are descriptions of each flower on the page facing the illustrations for easy reference.
