This is a near fine (almost like new) larger hardcover. Second Edition 1995 Cambridge University Press. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Black hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is clean and shiny with only very light shelf wear. Imperial octavo book size or 9" x 11" with 204 pages including index.

The Moon, planets, and nearly 100 deep sky objects, visible in the northern hemisphere are shown as they appear in a small telescope. The book gives information on how to find all these objects. There are maps to get location, and large format drawings depict what you can expect to see. The second edition is revised taking the tables of data to the year 2006.
