This is a very good larger hardcover with dust jacket. 1983 Exter Books, The Screen Greats series. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Full color illustrated hardcover boards matching dust jacket are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is very good, still clean and shiny with only light shelf wear including a small tear (neatly taped to prevent further damage) back of jacket top right corner. Larger coffee table style book, quarto book size or 9" x 12" with 79 pages.
Marilyn Monroe by Tom Hutchinson is a photographic bio of the Hollywood star. While her screen image was fairly consistent, her private life was full of contradictions. From her childhood to her highly publicized marriages, the book follows her ups and downs. It is full of vintage photos both in black and white and color along with a detailed narrative. The book includes an epilogue and filmography.
