This is a very good hardcover with an acceptable-as-present dust jacket. 1954 Modern Library edition. This copy is very clean inside. The inside pages are very clean and still crisp inside. The binding is tight and straight. Red cloth hardcover boards under jacket feature Modern Library logo embossed front and gold title lettering along spine. The red hardcover boards are very good with only very light shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is acceptable, showing wear at corner/edges and small tears along several edges. Smaller hardcover as typical w Modern Library, crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 723 pages not including Index of Titles.
This edition of The Selected Poetry of Robert Browning has been edited with an Intro by Kenneth L. Knickerbocker, University of Tenn. It is a definitive edition featuring all the favorites and divided into sections.
