This is a very good hardcover with a very good accompanying dust jacket. First Edition as evidenced by A-4.72(v) on copyright page, 1972 Scribners Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are remarkably crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are also very good with only light shelf wear and feature Hemingway facsimile signature front and gold title lettering along spine. The accompanying dust jacket is very good, still clean and shiny but does have light shelf wear including small tear top from middle jacket and bottom left corner back of jacket. Octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 268 pages.
The Nick Adams Stories by Ernest Hemingway is a collection of short stories published in 1972, a decade after the author's death. All the stories featuring Nick Adams, published in various collections during Hemingway's lifetime, are compiled in a single collection. There are 24 stories and sketches, eight of which were previously unpublished. Some of Hemingway's earliest work, such as "Indian Camp," as well as some of his best known stories, such as "Big Two-Hearted River.
