This is a very good small hardcover. No specific publishing date but believed circa 1900-1910 Henry Altemus Publishing. Decorated Edition. This copy is very good inside and out. The inside pages are very good and clean. Previous owners name neatly written in script on first blank page. The binding is tight and straight. Hardcover boards are also very good with only very light shelf wear and feature gold filigree design front, back and spine. Small hardcover, 16mo book size or 4" x 6.5" with 194 pages. These Henry Altemus decorative binding edition of classic literature were designed to be small handsome "pocket" editions meant to be carried around in purse or pocket for reading anywhere.
