This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover. 1978 The 700 Club Christian Classics Edition. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The inside pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Maroon hardcover boards are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear and feature gold design front and gold lettering along spine. Attached satin book mark. Crown octave book size or 5.5" x 8" with 303 pages.
The Pilgrim's Progress, From This World to That Which is to Come, by John Bunyan is classic Christian literature. The book is presented as a dream sequence and is a 1678 Christian-allegory. The protagonist is Christian and the plot carries him on his journey from hometown - or City of Destruction - to the Celestial City (that which is to come or Heaven) atop Mount Zion. This edition is not illustrated as many editions are.
