This is a very good small hardcover with dust jacket. 1955 Oxford University Press. This copy is very good inside and out. NOTE: inside front and back cover has acquired browning from a small bookmark being left inside over time, see photo. Rest of inside pages are very clean with no tanning etc. The binding is tight and straight. Attached satin bookmark shows fading and some fraying at end but is very good and attached. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are very good with light shelf wear and feature embossed seal front with gold title lettering spine. The accompanying dust jacket is good, showing shelf wear but overall good and solid. Small hardcover, 18mo book size or 4" x 6" with 492 pages including index.
