Thomas Woody's 1931 book, Educational Views of Benjamin Franklin, presents Franklin's educational philosophy through selections of his writings. Franklin emphasized practical, self-directed learning for the good of society. The book focuses on Franklin's belief in civic duty, self-improvement, and a curriculum designed to serve human and national needs, rather than purely academic pursuits.
