This is a very good hardcover with dust jacket. 1972 Ohio State University Press. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear and feature navy quarter trim with gold lettering along spine. The accompanying dust jacket is very good with only light shelf wear corners/edges. Medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 143 pages.

The book details the difficult and dangerous situation Atkins found himself in as a result of the Popish Plot of 1678. Atkins was during pressured to confess to a murder plot that involved Pepys and the Duke of York.
