It is a study of what happened in the air on both sides based on research and scrutiny of archives in Washington and Tokyo. The book is divided into four parts with a total of 14 chapters along with a Foreword by Lt. Gen. Joseph H. Moore USAF (Ret.), a prologue and an Epilogue. There are 10 appendix's including Japanese Naval Strength, Japanese Air Strength, Far East Air Force Strength, Order of Battle- Kokutai, Officers of 19th Bomb Group, Japanese Naval Terminology and more.
