This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket and accompanying slipcase. 1988 The American Past Publishing. This copy is still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages inside are crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Blue hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine with barely a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying dust jacket is also near fine with only a hint of shelf wear. The additional slipcase in royal blue cloth is very good with only very light shelf wear. Medium octavo book see or 6.5" x 9.5" with 400 pages including index.

Kennedy was elected President of the United States. It details the scope of the campaign and the dedication of the supporters as they worked to get Kennedy elected. 68 million people voted in the election that year and between 3 and 4 million actively participated organizing rallies, engaging neighbors and friends, and contributing money. It is a defining history of the election and the history surrounding the campaign and outcome that followed.
