This is a very good mass market paperback. 1959 ACE Doubles Science fiction. This copy is very good inside and out. The pages do have light natural tanning from age but are very good and clean. NOTE: previous owners name neatly written in script inside cover. The binding is tight and straight with no creasing along spine. The cover front and back is very good and still mostly shiny with only light shelf wear. Standard mass market paperback size or 4.25" x 7". Original price of .35 cents on front cover.
ACE Doubles featuring two short novels of fantasy and horror fiction were originally published from 1952 -1973. They were very popular and currently more and more rare and collectible. They were mass produced at the time with a desirable and cheap price point, starting at .35 cents for early editions and later .50 cents. Finding good condition copies is increasingly rare as they were marketed for fun reading offering "doubles" in fantasy-sci fi-horror genres.
