This is a very good hardcover. 1932 Revised Edition Mount Vernon Ladies Association. This copy is very well preserved, crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are still crisp and clean. The binding is tight and straight. Red hardcover boards are also very good with only a hint of shelf wear and feature gold lettering and design front and gold lettering along spine. Crown octavo book size or 5" x 8" with 84 pages.
History and Preservation of Mount Vernon 1858-1910 by Thomas Nelson Page is a history of "The Acquisition, Restoration, and Care of the Home of Washington by the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association of the Union for over Half a Century". It contains a detailed history along with vintage illustrations and photos.
