This is a near fine (almost like new) 2 volume set of hardcovers with accompanying slipcase. 1976 American Heritage Publishing. This set is particularly well preserved. Both volume are still crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp and clean. Red hardcover boards are also near fine and feature silhouette of Jefferson or Adams on the front with gold lettering in black block along spine. The red cloth hardcover boards barely show a hint of shelf wear. The accompanying slipcase is very good with only light shelf wear and featuring illustrated front with red back. Each volume is medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5".
This two volume set features the following titles; Adams An American Dynasty by Frances Russell and Jefferson A Revealing Biography by Page Smith. Both are extensively illustrated with portraits, drawings, copies of documents and letters and more.
